The patient was a young woman with pituitary-Microadenoma tumor and symptoms of acromegaly and Cushing’s syndrome. The level of cortisol and angiopoietin-related growth factor (AGF) was high in the patient blood. Pituitary tumor surgery was performed by Dr. Guive Sharifi (neurosurgeon) and Dr. Nader Akbari (otolaryngologist) through the nose (transsphenoidal surgery) in Erfan Hospital. Three months after surgery, scans showed that patient has got well and her only need is hormonal management by an endocrinologist.
